SEASCAPES
The ocean has so many moods and colors. I never tire of watching painting, or playing in it on my windsurfer or paddleboad. Having a little place at Martin's Beach in Half Moon Bay has afforded me endless hours to observe and paint the sea and coastline. Many of the paintings are plein air. Others are created on a fabulous reflective surface created by applying gold, copper, or silver leaf to board. The reflectiveness of the surface adds a wonderful shimmer to the ocean and clouds.
